The South African team (Bafana Bafana) got their World Cup preparations back on track with a 2-0 win over Jamaica yesterday.
The 2–0 victory ended their goal drought and gave South African fans something to celebrate with just over a month before the tournament kicks off. Bafana had scored just five goals in six matches since coach Carlos Alberto Parreira returned to SA for a second spell in charge of the team and it had become a cause of great concern for the Brazilian.
The international friendly was part of the Bafana preparation during their training camp in Germany.
