FOREIGN visitors continue to stream into South Africa for the World Cup, with the Department of Home Affairs yesterday reporting that 744000 people had arrived in the country in the first 24 days of June.
This is an impressive increase from the 682000 foreign arrivals recorded by the end of Monday this week and significantly higher than the 541000 recorded at the same time last year.
Home affairs spokesman Ronnie Mamoepa, stressed that many more fans would probably come into SA for the World Cup.
